It was with great sorrow that the friends and members of Chase Family Church heard of the death of Her Majesty, The Queen, today.

We at Chase Family Church have long recognised the mighty hand of God resting upon her life, and her dedication, love and duty she showed towards the nation and her people, not only here but worldwide.

Of late she appears to have emphasised her Christian faith, including her trust in the help of God in her decisions. Bearing as she did the great responsibility that she pledged herself to, all those years ago, on hearing of the death of her father, the King and with it the responsibility that she alone would bear.

We trust that we have fulfilled the scripture in praying for her, as a church and pledge ourselves to do the same for our future King, Charles 3rd.

It is God who appoints and anoints Kings and Queens. It is Jesus Christ who is and ever will be King of Kings. We pray for all those in authority, that God would guide them and that His will be done.

With that in mind we say, and give thanks for her long and fruitful, faithful life.
