What is Firestorm?

Firestorm is a youth group for young people in school years 6-13. We meet weekly, 7-9:30pm at Chase Family Church Centre.

Throughout the term we have a whole range of different activities:

club nights, tournaments (pool, table tennis, wii), theme nights, games nights and trips.

Firestorm Aims:

To provide a safe, encouraging and inclusive environment

To promote friendships, respect, good values & the Christian gospel

To provide fun and engaging activities and trips!

Firestorm Rules:

YES: Respect for all members, leaders, parents, property, neighbours, Christianity and Chase Family Church.

NO: swearing, lying, drugs, alcohol, smoking and inappropriate conduct towards Firestorm members and leaders

Any Firestorm members who do not adhere to the above values and rules will be asked to leave.

Safety at Firestorm

The safety of the young people attending Firestorm is very important to us. All the leaders have completed DBS checks and safeguarding training and adhere to Chase Family Church’s safeguarding policies and procedures. Activities, games and trips are risk-assessed and age-appropriate.

Cost

We ask for everyone attending Firestorm to pay 50p subs every week – this goes towards the upkeep of the centre and maintaining equipment/resources. There are extra costs for trips, these are advertised well in advance.
