Breakout

A missional event to shine the light of Jesus on Halloween involving the whole church, with many ideas and involvement coming from our young people. We will be setting up gazebos in the car park of Christ Church URC, Chase Side, and using the side hall. Activities will include: Live worship Prayer area Offering hot chocolates & hot dogs, tea & coffee ‘Verse & Treat’: Giving out sweets and bible verses to members of the public. Games led by young people We will setup from 2pm, and will be handing out fliers, pray at 3:30, start the event at 4pm, and finish at 6pm. We will aim to finish packing down by 7pm.

Through a variety of creative expressions, we’ll discover alternative beautiful expressions of faith, that will help us to connect with God in new and meaningful ways. Whether you feel you are artistic and love being creative, or you aren't quite sure where to start, this is for you. Rather than a place for perfection, it will be a space to explore, have a go and enjoy time in God's presence. Feel free to bring a friend along. Church Weekend Away

You are invited to the CHASE Family Church weekend away!Book now here Come and join us for a wonderful time of being together, getting to know one another better and receiving some excellent teaching and ministry. We are delighted to have John and Anne Coles joining us for the weekend and leading the teaching and ministry. The weekend will start on Friday 9th April with dinner and an evening session, and will finish at lunchtime on the Sunday. The weekend away will be taking place at High Leigh Conference Centre - an excellent space boasting 40 acres of lawns, parkland and woodland as well as plenty of spaces to relax including a spacious lounge with tea & coffee on tap all day! There will be a children's and youth programme during the weekend (including creche). We'll be giving our usual children's and youth team the weekend off so they can receive, and we will be inviting some other leaders we know to lead these groups. More information on this in due course. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided for everyone throughout the weekend.
