Language school

Chase Family Church English Class for Women is a Beginner’s English class for speakers of other languages and is open to women of all ages, nationalities and faiths. It is a community style class with a crèche for pre-school children.

 

The course is designed to help women gain confidence in speaking English in everyday situations. The lessons are taught by a qualified language teacher and a team of assistants. Special emphasis is placed on conversation in small groups.

 

We meet on Thursday afternoons during school terms from 1.00 to 2.30 in Shirley Hall, Shirley Road, Enfield. Shirley Hall is about five minutes walk from Enfield Town and is on many bus routes.
