Delta
Delta is part of Firestorm (the young people at Chase Family Church) and meets twice a month at 11.15am during our Sunday Morning Service at Enfield Grammar School [perhaps have a link to directions page for the Grammar]. Delta is for schools years 9 upwards and meets to study the Bible and understand how God's word relates to the issues of teenagers in their daily lives, and aims to encourage young people to walk with God every day.
Delta is currently run by Peter Tidey who has been part of the Youth Leadership Team since 2004 and is also currently a Trainee Elder in the Church. Some of the Biblical topics we are aiming to cover in 2011/2012:
- Creation
- The fall of mankind
- Ten Commandments/what was the Old Testament?
- Why Jesus came to Earth
- What changed from the Old to the New Testament?
- What Jesus' death and resurrection means for us

- Peer pressure
- Relationships
- How can we respond to bullying/self harm?
- How can I share my faith at school?
- University/Where is my future?
