Launchpad 6-10yrs (school year 2-5)

This group is run by  of 3 teams  Mick and Mary Le Baigue, Gordon and Sarah Farrant and Laura Higgins and Jamie Owens

The children settle in easily as they come up from Sunshine because on some previous Sundays they will have joined the group for a praise and worship time. Each week may vary but the Scripture Union material is used plus our own input. A typical week might include teaching, craft, praise and prayer. The children are encouraged to pray for each other and wider issues.

In this group we expect to see faith develop and children responding to Jesus as their personal saviour. Some children are baptised in the Holy Spirit in this group and encouraged to move in the gifts of the Spirit.

Whilst in this group the children have the opportunity to sleep under canvas at Cuffley Camp in Hertfordshire. It’s a big adventure in faith and practical terms. Sitting around the camp fire and learning more about Jesus and playing in the woods. We all come back exhausted and happy!
