I have been heard to say that when I retire (which someone told me recently that I will never do!), I would love to re-write some of the Christian Classics for a new generation. Well, this is one that won’t be necessary, since Jim Reimann has done such a splendid task already! His own testimony is that God ministered to him in a mighty way as he worked on this book and he shares a very special example of that in the Introduction. A personal word from L B Cowman reminds us that “In the pathway of faith we come to learn that the Lord’s ways are not our thoughts, nor His ways our ways”.
