New Year's Resolutions

I'm not a great one for New Year Resolutions.  I think that stems from the fact that I'm one of those people who do not regard one day as any more important than any other (Paul talks about this in his letters).  However that said, it is New Year and many of you will be making New Year's Resolutions, so here are two videos to draw inspiration from.

Firstly, Feel Like it or Not emphasises the necessity to make a decisionabout specific behaviours

The second recognises our inablity to change ourselves and let God transform us into His likeness

Perhaps we need to recognise those areas of our lives where we fall short of God's best for us, lay them before Him and give Him permission to change us day by day.  The good news is that as a Christian our relationship with God does not change depending on whether or not we keep our resolutions.  We are sinners, saved by grace, forgiven because Jesus died on our behalf and declared to be children of God.  Hallelujah and have a tremendous 2011 exploring what God has in store for you.
